BEND TRIBUNE One of the few that got away, this was part of a radical tabloid conversion planned for the Tribune's Weekend section. Produced as part of a joint consulting session with editorial guru Koky Dishon, of Chicago, the effort was a follow up to the paper's major relaunch spearheaded by Dishon and Tony Sutton. Unfortunately, the tabloid didn't get further than the prototype stage. Typefaces: Heads – Franklin Gothic Condensed and Century 727; Text – Nimrod.
