When
Ron Williams, former publisher of a group of US alternative weeklies,
developed a new group of city tabloid magazines devoted to 'cultural
creatives,' he asked Tony Sutton - who had earlier designed his
papers in Detroit, Orlando and San Antonio - to give them a new
look, beginning with Chicago's Conscious Choice.
Working
with editor Rebecca Ephraim and publisher Ross Thompson, Sutton
gave the paper a bolder cover and a cleaner inside page design.
