Tony Sutton was called in as consultant when Alabama's
biggest daily, The Birmingham News, decided to make changes to
its Sunday paper in an attempt to attract more casual readers.
He worked on the project, which included making the paper's front
page more like a billboard, with senior designer Rick Frennear,
page 1 designer Napo Monasterio and Sunday editor Scott Walker.
